The Development Managerplays a key role in Allied Arts fundraising operations working to secure new donorsand increase giving from existing donors. They develop bold giving ideas through a collaborative process withcolleagues and senior leadership, based on research and experiences withdonors. The Development Manager works with donors across all aspects of AlliedArts (Campaign, Event, Endowment, etc.) to increase revenue.
• Works as in integral part of the Development team to increase giving from new and existing donors
• Execute personalized stewardship plans to engage and retain donors, including acknowledgment letters, updates on program impact, and invitations to special events to ensure their needs are met and their interests are tracked
• Identify and/or strengthen corporate partnerships, including sponsorship for events and workplace giving opportunities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and leverage relationships, inspire, engage and steward donors to retain and increase giving as well as attract new supporters.
• Minimum of 2 years fundraising and event experience
• Demonstrated success record in key aspects of individual fundraising
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor management tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and maintain positive, collaborative, productive relationships with staff at multiple levels
• Sound judgment in maintaining confidentiality of donor information
• Bachelor’s Degree.
Working in a team focused environment with other professionals, employees must regularly be able to detect, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, inspect, estimate, observe, and assess items, information, and objects in an office setting. Team work and communications are critical to our success and employees are regularly required to communicate clearly, in various settings.
Regular business hours are from 8:30 – 5:00 M-F, with occasional off-site events requiring additional time on nights, weekends and early mornings.
